"The Birth Of Christ"
Here we are again. It's the Christmas Season and many will take time to remember that it's Jesus' birthday, but millions around the world are only concerned about buying and selling. We spoke to a lady in a store the other day and Christmas came up in our conversation. She began to tell of how she despised the holidays. She let it be known that she was buying her children their gifts and mailing them and that was the extent of her Christmas. We spoke up and reminded her that it was Christ's birthday and we were to celebrate His birth. She avoided us and went about her business as though she had no idea what we were talking about. You would think with all the outreaches in this country that everyone would realize what Christmas is all about. It's the day we set aside to celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. You know it's the time of the year that even the heathens find it in their hearts to give to others. People will lay down their differences if only for a day and show a little kindness to each other. Families will mend for a season and many will forgive and place ill feelings behind them. We need to make sure that we remember the importance of this holiday. God cared so much for us that He allowed His only begotten Son to be born, here on this earth, only to later die for our sins. We must all remember that His birth was a Holy birth. It was God's seed that was brought by the Holy Spirit unto the virgin Mary which caused the immaculate conception. It's sad that most people only think about this great miracle once a year and that's at Christmas. We Christians should wake up every morning, of our lives, thanking God for allowing Jesus to be born to redeem us from our sins. Our prayers are that the Lord bless you and your family, this Christmas, with blessings you cannot contain. As you and your family come together this season be sure to remind them of the true reason for the Christmas Season. JESUS!!
"Last Chance To Give"
Once again, we're coming down to the close of another year the Lord has blessed us to see. Many names have been added to the Book Of Life this year. Churches and Ministries all over the world have been leading the lost to Jesus Christ. We have been blessed to see souls saved this year. It's your contributions that make it possible for us to continue year after year. It's hard to even imagine how many lives have been changed because of our efforts over the past 30 years. It's shameful to even have to ask for support for God's work, but here we are once again asking for help. The Word tells us to give cheerfully and freely and we shall be blessed. However, Uncle Sam says that if we give to non-profit organizations, we can get a tax break. We ask everyone to take time to think this through. Since most of us have to pay taxes anyway, why not give the money to the ministry and help win the lost to Jesus. The government has a way of taking our tax money and giving it to the leaders of several foreign nations. The people of those nations never seem to benefit from our giving. We can use that same money and feed innocent little children and families here and abroad, but more importantly, we will see souls saved should God tarry. Our Ministry is a registered Non-Profit Organization, therefore every dollar you give can be deducted on your tax return. Every contributor receives a statement, after the first of the year, showing the amount they have contributed. We ask you to do the very best you can and help us again this year. Our prayers are with you.
"Merry Christmas To All"
This is the time of the year that we need to pray for all families that are less fortunate than we are. Many families will suffer loss of a loved one this season, because the devil will place someone under the spirit of depression and convince that person that death is an easy way out. People must be told not to listen to the devil. He is a liar and the truth is not in him. He is the father of all lies. Yet, many will open their eyes in Hell, because of this deception. Prayer does change things and we need to be in prayer for all God's people. Children need to be taught the truth about Christmas. They need to know why we celebrate Christmas and the importance of the birth of Jesus. To give and receive gifts is fine, but everyone needs to realize that having love in the family and household is far more important that any gift money could ever buy. Dads and Moms get depressed, because they can't afford to buy the things the kids ask for. If the children were taught from the very beginning the tru menaing of Christmas, they would think twice before asking for items they know would be very difficult for their parents to purchase. A parent can still allow their children to have hope, but telling them the truth shall also set them free, plus it will take a great burden off of YOU!! There's nothing wrong with the story of Santa, but he can't get you into heaven. Only Jesus can!
