2024 Volume 33 Issue 06 “Thank God Jesus Arose”

As we begin our celebration of the Resurrection of Christ, we must face the fact that there are millions out there that have no idea what Easter is about.  God has blessed this Ministry to be able to get into the homes of millions and tell them the story.  We thank those of you that help us each month.

Waiting On The Master

Over the years, we’ve had several conversations in reference to the coming of the Lord.  Some think the rapture takes place at death.  In one sense this is correct.  It’s the first stage of one’s personal rapture.  Your soul goes to heaven to be with the Lord and your body goes to the grave.  However, the Bible is very clear about the Lord coming for the bodies of the dead in Christ and changing them from corruption to incorruption and from mortal to immortal bodies.  In I Corinthians 15:52  the Word says, “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”  The first thing we want to point out is, that Paul is telling us that not everyone will die before Christ comes for His body of believers.  Some of us will be alive and going about our business when we hear the trumpet sound.  The emphasis here is being changed.  As you read this letter, you’re dwelling in a house of clay, which is your corruptible, fleshly body.  Your body is also mortal, which means it can and will die at some point.  Your body must be changed from a corruptible, mortal body to an incorruptible, immortal one.  The Bible goes on to say in Verse 53, “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  55.  O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?  56.  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  57.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.  We have to receive our glorified bodies and we do just that at the coming of Christ.  Waiting on the Master is very difficult for our fleshly bodies.  We have been hearing of His return for our entire lifetimes, plus, mankind has been waiting since the day Jesus left.  Our Bible teaches us that a day for the Lord is like a thousand years for us.  In II Peter 3:8 we learn, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day.”  Christ has been gone just over two thousand years in our time, but in God’s time, it’s only been two days.  When we pray, some times it seems as though our answers will never come, but we must remember, God’s time clock is not as ours.  So we must be patient and wait upon the Lord.  He will answer our prayers on time and He will come for His body of believers on time.  For those that aren’t supporting us, will you help us warn those that are on their way to hell and win the lost to Jesus?  †

Where Are My Answers?

When we pray and ask God for certain things, we must understand that He will only grant the requests that line up with His Word.  God will never give you anything that will harm you or anyone else.  Many times you might ask God for something, thinking that it will be a blessing to you or to someone else, but God knows the future, knowing exactly when, how and what’s going to take place, and He sees where your request might be harmful to you or to others.  We, looking through carnal eyes, cannot understand why God hasn’t granted our request.  This is why we must always trust God and His judgment.  God always wants to bless His Children, but He will also look out for our wellbeing.  God has not and will not ever fail.  †

Going Forth

We need to take a good look at our lives everyday.  Are you happy and satisfied with your concept on life?  Are you living your life to it’s fullest capacity?  Are we setting good examples for others that may be watching how we handle certain matters?  We are to have positive attitudes at all times.  It doesn’t matter what the situation may be, we have to believe that all is well in our lives.  We should never judge others by the life they live.  If we will keep our eyes on Jesus and the Cross at all times, we’ll not have time to reflect on the lives of others.  As a matter of fact, we’ll not know how they live, because we’ll be too busy taking care of our own lives.  We must make sure we’re portraying a positive out put everyday of our lives.  Remember, you are someone, you’re a Child of God.  He chose you and you need to reflect this to everyone.  We’re no greater than others, but we are to live our lives to encourage others to repent and accept Jesus.  †

Offer this Month

Our offer, this month, is an anointed teaching on the Book of Esther.  Esther was a Jewish woman who finds favor with the King and goes on to become Queen.  She risks her life to save the Jewish people from destruction when Haman persuades the King to go after them.  This is a very interesting and in depth  teaching by Evangelist David Bibey.  Order this special offer The Book of Esther on CD today for a love gift of $40.00 or more to help us carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.  God Bless.   †
