There are times we feel that all this Church and Ministry outreach is doing is making enemies. On a personal level it’s a hard walk to walk that we don’t like, but that is when the Holy Spirit lets us know that we’re winning! You see, as long as people are upset with the message and the way it’s being delivered, we’re getting through to them. If we never heard any feedback or had anyone disagree with us, then we wouldn’t know if the message was getting out there. They may not like us, but they have heard the message, so we win! Jesus loves His people and He has commanded His messengers to go tell them the way to Heaven. He clearly tells everyone in John 14:6, “I am the way”. We cannot get to the Father without going through Jesus Christ. We’ve made this statement before, but we believe it merits repeating. When God called us He told us, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.” He didn’t say, “Go into all the world and preach what men want to hear.” The Word of God is sharper than a two edged sword. It cuts when one hears it delivered under the anointing. There are millions that don’t understand what that phrase means. (Delivered under the Anointing) You see, not not just anyone can preach the Word of God and it be effective. All of us know, that it’s the Word of God that saves and not the messenger, but the anointing must be there for the maximum effect. While Jesus walked with the disciples they could do miracles, because Jesus was the anointing as well as, the Holy Spirit. However, when Jesus was leaving the scene, He commanded the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem, until they were endued with power. In other words I’m leaving, so don’t do anything, until I send The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost or if you prefer, (The anointing). We find these words in Luke 24:49. We also find these words in Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” If you will notice, on both occasions, Jesus instructed them that they would receive power and then they should witness for Him. The power He speaks of is the power of the Holy Ghost, which delivers the anointing. Jesus wants all of His people to be delivered from the evil of this world. Our lost relatives, your lost relatives and all the lost throughout the world. People may put you down for telling others about Jesus, but remember, “You Win!” †
Living For Jesus
We try, daily, to live for Jesus. The Bible clearly says in James 1:22, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” We’ve stepped out on faith many times believing that God will honor our faith. Souls are hanging in the balance and someone must warn them of the judgment that is to come. Our teens have no morals, because parents are not teaching morals at home. Many are disrespectful to their elders and have no problem openly living in sin. We’re trying to teach our youth what God says about living right. Souls are being saved in our teens here at Crossroads and time is running short. We must win all we can here local and abroad. Remember, “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” These young people must be taught the truth. Will you please help! †
True Faith
In Hebrews 11:1 it says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” When one counts something done, before God acts upon it, it pleases God and compels Him to move on their behalf. Faith changes one’s hope into reality. When your fleshly mind says, “With God all things are possible,” this is when we have to follow the Word of God and claim our victory. Faith calls those things that are not, as though they were. Faith gives substance to things not seen. Heart Faith believes the Word of God and acts upon it regardless of what the evidence may be. †
