We have prayed, for many years, for certain people who are trying to destroy this Ministry. We have asked God to give us wisdom to do that which is right. After praying for grace and mercy all these years, we now feel that it’s time to turn them over to God for chastisement. In I Corinthians 5:7 God’s Word tells us to purge out the old leaven, that we may be a new lump. When there’s a person or persons that continually try to deceive, tare down and destroy others, they must be removed. Jesus tells us in Matthew 13:33, “The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.” If you leave a rotten apple in a basket of good apples, eventually, all will rot. Basically, the kingdom will do the same. You cannot allow a bad apple to enter the kingdom or remain in the congregation, less the entire church be ruined. This is what’s happening across the land, today. Many pastors will not speak up in fear of hurting someone’s feelings. We have prayed for grace and mercy for a long period of time and God has told us to handle it as He directed. Lots of churches are divided and destroyed, because of disobedience. Please pray that we are never deceived and that we never deceive anyone. †
Life Is But A Vapor
When the Apostle Paul made the statement in James: 4:14, “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanish away.” Young people, today, don’t realize how important it is to utilize every hour of every day. They need to make every day count for good. We can look back now and we can see the hundreds of days we wasted. At the time, we didn’t understand how we should appreciate the life God has given us. We could have done so much good to help others, but we were selfish wanting to satisfy ourselves. We want to encourage as many people as we can, young and old, to be on fire for Christ and help those that can’t help themselves, because their bodies have grown old. We can look at our lives and see a willing mind that’s ready to go and do, but we also see an older body that simply can’t achieve the things the mind wants to do. We understand that to some, we are still young, but we can see the vapor vanishing pretty fast. As the saying goes, here today, but can be gone tomorrow. We have attended many funerals over the years and seen many that died at ages we felt were premature. We can only wish that we had taken the time to witness to more of them about Jesus. However, we are thankful, to know that many of those were saved through our telecast. We encourage each of you to witness to as many people as you can, especially those that are living for self and serving the world. We might not be here tomorrow, so let’s make every day count. No one wakes up in the morning, planning to die, but we must use every day God gives us to lead others into the peace we share. For when you have Jesus living in your heart, you have a peace that the world knows nothing about. Those that share this peace, never worry about death. We ask each of you to share Jesus and God’s plan of salvation with a friend or neighbor today. †
Our Salvation and Victory
Christ has made us so many promises throughout the Bible, insuring us, that there would be no doubt of our Salvation’s security. We’re only going to share a few of these scriptures to encourage those that may have doubt. In John 5:24, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” The key words hear are believe, shall not and is. We each know that we must “believe” to have heart knowledge of Christ. Then Jesus says those that believe “shall not” come into condemnation. Then the most interesting word is: “is.” The believer is passed from the death sentence, imposed upon them by the curse of Adam and Eve and is given eternal life. It doesn’t say that they might get everlasting life, but they have it when they believe. In I Corinthians 11:31-32, “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.” All are condemned that don’t believe. In John 3:18 it states, “He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the Son of God.” This proves that when one believes, he is not and shall not be condemned with the world, but we will be spanked by God if we do wrong. We find in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Of course the key words here are, “never perish.” Never means; not at any time, past present or future. It’s just like all of our healings and blessings. Jesus says they’re ours and we truly believe Him. We must start confessing our victories and quit speaking about the problems we might be facing. God has spoken to us several times lately telling us to encourage His children, letting them know He will take care of them. He has adopted us into His family and He will never neglect us. †
