We happen to believe that many of us take way too much for granted in this life. We never stop in the mornings to thank God for waking us up and allowing us to see another day. We take our ability to breathe for granted. Our kidney function along with our bowels operating properly is taken for granted. Just being able to get out of bed on our own and getting ourselves dressed is a great blessing that we tend to take for granted. Sure, there are those that that feel they are owed these blessings, simply because everyone else has them. We knew a devout Christian lady that was completely whole in her body at one time in her life. She was very dedicated to attending church and working in the mission work that was done in the Ministry. One day, unexpectedly, she had a massive stroke. She was paralyzed from her neck down and was unable to anything for herself. She was bedridden for years and was placed in a nursing home to get the daily help she needed to survive. We can honestly say, “Her faith never wavered.” She always trusted God and praised Him for everything. Even for the little things. She regained the use of her upper body completely and she had the use of her legs, however, she could not walk due to her legs would not straighten out because she did not receive the proper physical therapy on them while in the nursing home. She was able to be sent home to live and care for herself for many years after the stroke and she attended church as often as she could giving God all the praise, honor and glory for every little thing she was able to do. She never complained about being confined to a wheelchair but she praised God for getting her to the point she was no longer confined to a bed. She was a strong reminder to the congregation and to us, not to take anything for granted. Every heartbeat, every breath we take is precious and we shouldn’t take it for granted because the very next one is not promised to anyone. We know that Thanksgiving is the appointed time to be thankful, but as you know, everyday, is the time we need to be thankful for all we have and do not have. We don’t have crippling diseases, deadly sicknesses and our body organs function properly. Should you be one that cannot say this or may have a health problem, you should truly begin to thank God that you’re alive and are able to thank Him for all that you do have. Again, we ask you, “What Has God Done For You?” †
Letting Our Light Shine
Jesus says in 8:12, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” We know that before Jesus touched our hearts, we were wondering in darkness. We were never evil people according to our standards, but we weren’t righteous people either. We were truly servants of Satan, serving our flesh and our fleshly desires. Once we met Jesus, our blinded eyes were opened and we could see that we were headed down the wrong pathway. A Light came into our lives and began showing us the true way to live. That Light was the Holy Ghost. As was mentioned earlier in John 14:26 Jesus says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things.” Pray for the Light of the World and then let it shine. †
Standing on the Promises
Jesus has made us thousands of promises through out the Bible. If we believe one, we must believe all. Christ cannot lie, nor will He. He promises us salvation, when we repent and believe upon Him. Everything He promises is based on faith. Remember what the Bible says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him.” In order for us to receive our blessings and His promises, we must believe Him and take Him at His Word. We thank those of you that have listened to God and are supporting our outreach. For those that haven’t started supporting yet, you’re missing out on many blessings. When Pastor Bibey preaches the Word, he preaches what God tells him, hearts are convicted and people are converted, which means, they have quit following Satan and the lust of the flesh and have started following God’s Word. †
Praying For the Holy Ghost Boldness to Fill Us
As, “Christians”, we need to make certain that we never allow the devil to over power us. God has given, each of His Children, power over “All” the enemy. (Luke 10:19). We only have one Enemy and that’s the devil, Lucifer, and Satan are the names he goes by. He may attack you through many areas and contacts, but it’s still one enemy. He may allow an evil spirit to attack your health, finances, family, friends or your Spiritual growth. You must always remember, you have the Holy Ghost Boldness and Power to bind him and God made you a promise in His Word, “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven.” (Matthew 18:18). We, as “Christians”, need to start using the gift that God has given us. He didn’t give us this gift to sit on, He gave it to us for us to use it. “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (I John 4:4) Please begin using this power, so we can take back the territory that Satan has gained over the past few years. We have politicians that are killing unborn babies at an alarming rate. They don’t care or either they don’t realize that it’s murder. You may agree with them, but we choose to follow and believe God’s Word. We have the power and boldness. Let’s use it every way possible. †
