Since the very beginning of creation, their has been good and evil in the hearts of men and women. Every person contains the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The first recorded act of violence is found in the Book of Genesis 4:8. Cain, having the seed of violence in him, slew his brother Abel. History teaches that Cain slew Abel with a club. The villain that day wasn’t the club he used. Neither was it the NCA, (The National Club Association.) The true killer was Cain and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart. It seems that every time we have an incident, most people start pointing fingers at the NRA, (National Rifle Association) and blaming the gun instead of the person pulling the trigger. For the record, we’re not members of the NRA. Thousands of people have been killed with knives. Was it the knifes fault or the cutlery manufacture’s fault? Of course not. Thousands are killed, each year, in car accidents. How many citations do the police write to the car itself? They charge the drivers of the car, because cars do not kill. Today, we still have those that have the seed of violence and these are the ones that are killing innocent children and adults. We’re writing this to point blame where it belongs. The tragedies we have faced over the years, dating all the way back to Columbine, were spiritual events that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies in Washington, some of the blame lies in the Capitals of our States, who are behind the pointing fingers of the politicians that have passed laws that allow the devil to take over our school system and our children. The Father of one of the girls that was killed at Columbine wrote this poem:
Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You’ve stripped away our heritage,
You’ve outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question, “Why?”
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!
Men and women are three part beings. We all consist of body, mind and soul. (Spirit) When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Our educational system had always had God’s Spiritual presence, until we allowed the politicians of this great nation to take that presence away. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What’s happened? We have refused to honor God and in doing so, we opened the doors to hatred and violence. When something as terrible as the killings in our community schools occurs, our politicians immediately look for a scapegoat, such as the NRA or the guns themselves. They immediately want to pass more restrictive laws, but will not even consider inviting our Lord and Savior back into the classrooms. They kicked God out and the devil moved in. The teachers, counselors and principals may stop our children from praying out loud, but they cannot stop their silent prayers. Let’s raise our children to be God fearing adults that will take over this nation when the time is right and restore true Christian values once again. †
Denominations
Over the years, we probably rubbed some folks the wrong way when we speak of denominations. Simply stating a fact and know it to be a fact and know it to be true. God has no part of denominationalism. Denominational doctrine came from fleshly divisions of the early church. God has no part in divisions. His command is for all of us to be in unity. “Love your neighbor as yourself,” and “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Denominationalism comes from certain men expressing their interpretation of God’s Word, instead of bowing and submitting to the Holy Ghost for the true meaning of the Scriptures. Once they have made up their minds that they are not correct, they persuade others to follow them and they breakaway from the main body of the church. Sometimes, they carry the same denomination title, but often, in years past, they started their own titles. This is why we have dozens of different denominations in the world today. God has Children in all Christian denominations. Some denominations teach that they are the only ones that are going to heaven. Hate to bust some bubbles, but that’s not what the Holy Bible teaches. We are saved by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ and not by the denomination we belong to. There’s only One God, Jehovah, One Son Jesus the Christ, One Holy Ghost and One Truth. Each of us need to seek wisdom to better understand God’s Plan and His Word. We don’t believe any man is 100% accurate in His interpretation of God’s Word. The Apostle Paul wrote in I Corinthians 13:9-10, “For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect, (Jesus Christ) is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.” God isn’t going to give us complete knowledge of His plan until Christ comes again to receive us unto Himself. Then we shall have the mind of Christ and know all. Until then, He gives us all we have need of to be strong and victorious. †
